Symmetry Cycle Coaching is a family owned and operated business run by Bryce Mitchell-D'Raine and wife Cara Mitchell-D'Raine, along with coaches Nick Lynch and Kelby Smart.
about Bryce Bryce Mitchell-D'Raine is a fully qualified teacher holding a BA.Education majoring in Human Movement Studies. With a history in coaching other sports to the elite level, but a true passion for cycling, it was recognized that his knowledge and skills as an accomplished cyclist, and coaching abilities, would benefit the sport of cycling. Bryce now holds the following National Coaches Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) & other qualifications:
Bryce' expertise have been utilised by the National Talent Identification & Development program as the WA Futures Centre Coach for Cycling based out of the WA Institute of Sport. He has also been a WA State Team coach for Road and Track Cycling for the junior and senior road and track cycling teams since 2006.
His experience and expertise has developed athletes who have won numerous National medals, and others who have achieved international medals and placings in world championships.
He has also been instrumental in development and mentoring of coaches within WA, and has articles published in cycling media. With his knowledge and commitment to success, athletes training under Symmetry Cycle coaching also gain knowledge on the road to achieving their goals. He has recently returned to cycling himself with the view to completing endurance events in Mountain Biking.
about Cara
Cara Mitchell-D'Raine holds a Bachelor of Psychology, and a Dip. Education. Also with a history of coaching athletes to the highest level in Gymnastics, Cara brings a managerial role to Symmetry Cycle Coaching. With her qualifications and experience in psychology, she also provides support for athletes and coaches within her scope when required.
about Nick
With the development of a purpose built Cycle Training Studio, Symmetry Cycle Coaching has adopted the expert qualifications of personal trainer Nick Lynch to deliver customized and supervised personal training specifically for cyclists.
Nick has a background in elite rowing under the WAIS, and has worked in the outdoors industry and personal training industry for a number of years now. He holds a number of qualifications specifically useful in delivering cyle coaching including:

about Kelby
Leaving Mauritius where he rides for a professional cycling team, Kelby has moved to Western Australia and continued his love of the sport as a competitive athlete both here in WA and Internationally. As a part of the Symmetry Cycle Coaching team, Kelby brings in expertise in his chosen field of study of Nutrition, along with his development as a cycling coach. With his own experiences and study in these specialty areas, Kelby has the highest level of understanding in the energy systems of the body and sport. His qualifications and continued study include:
